a time for choosing... Mike Pence?

i've mentioned congressman Mike Pence a few times recently, so it makes sense to post a link to a simply smashing piece posted at townhall.com recently. it's the text of a speech Pence gave to some youngsters at a Capitol Hill event recently. a little like Reagan when he wore a younger man's clothes?

i like this statement from his house bio page:

Mike describes himself as "a Christian, a conservative and a Republican, in that order."

that's doesn't say it all for certain, but probably says quite a bit.
