Reasonable Nuts: Crap-talkers take notice

Sometimes nuts. Always reasonable. We are REASONABLE NUTS.

The Reasonable Nuts are a small band of conservative and libertarian thinkers who have come together to exposit, expound, and (sometimes) explode on topics of public discourse (or those we think should be in public discourse). "Yeah, like the 'net needs another right-wing blog!", you're thinking. We hear ya. Our primary purposes here are twofold: 1, to post our notions and interpretations of current and recent events, bouncing them off one another - and you - and 2, to add a unique content to the 'net - not readily found elsewhere.

Crap-talkers take notice

Letterman and O'Reilly got into it Tuesday night.

The CBS star, however, couldn't resist tempering his concession with one last insult, telling O'Reilly in the next breath: "I have the feeling that about 60 percent of what you say is crap."

Some % of what O'Reilly says is indeed crap. Letterman and I only differ in our assessment of the amount we deem crap. I see it somewhere between 10 and 20%. That's a whole lot better than most crap-talkers.

But seriously, O'Reilly has long since jumped the shark. I use to love his show--along with the primetime Fox News lineup--back in the late 90s. Back then, I'd never heard anyone express similar opinions outside of AM radio. Then I found weblogs, which were incredibly ahead of the curve of what anyone was talking about.

Meanwhile, O'Reilly got meaner, more egotistical and more faux agenda driven. His also gotten considerably more older and haggard everytime I see him. It's like watching Chancellor Palpatine turn into Darth Sidious.; 1/04/2006 11:34 PM
