Big shoes to fill
In any event, she relented and encouraged me to watch it with her last night. My take: any dramatic film that is at least "good" has themes of troubled relationships and reconciliation. Redeeming what there is, is a theme as well. This film is no different and excels at each. The performances by MacLaine, Collette, and Diaz are each quite good. Chemistry between the main and supporting characters is phenomenal.
8.5 out of 10.
