Bump My Ride 2: Libertarian Boogaloo

Here's some bumper stickers I'm drafting as part of my duties as Communications Director for the Henrico Co. Libertarian Party.

For those outside the area, Henrico Public Schools gives a laptop to each student. You know, so the kids have something expensive they can shatter into little bits, after they're done viewing pornography with it.

For all you LOTR fans:

Washington = Mordor
South = Shire
Richmond = Minas Tirith.

We could use all the elven magic you can spare.

Can you design a better bumper sticker? If so, click here for the chance to win a whopping $20.00, plus the bumper sticker you design!

Thank you, Henrico, Co.
My daughter IM'ed and MySpaced her way to a dropout.

The principal said there was "no way" should could be IM'ing during school, she couldn't install the software. They never heard of Meebo.com until I told them.

By pandering to stupid parents that were being lied to by their kids, henrico co ensures the next generation of idiots.

I tried to withdraw my daughter from the program....and ran into "mandatory computer assignment" again and again.

I had a biology teacher explain to me why it was very important she use biology time to teach Mac Movie Maker. Then they went to dells and had to use biology time to teach the windows version. So that first time was how valuable?

Teachers love it because they can watch a 3 minute movie/power point during class time and write down a grade.
1. The child doesn't have to think critically; just copy a few Wikipedia bullets.
2. The teacher doesn't have to work during their grading period, doesn't have to think at all, no spell or grammar checking, etc. Just write down a grade.

Worse for students, easier for teachers = we'll never get rid of it.

Which is why I never vote democrat, republican, or incumbant. Good luck, Libs, you got my vote!
